Teresa’s Candles & Scents was established in 2000. Teresa was a chemist with Bath and Body Works for three years. She has a Bachelor of Science in Biology with strong emphasis in chemistry. While with Bath and Body Works she did extensive research on soy candles. After resigning and relocating to Danville, IL, Teresa started her own candle company. She started her business by selling soy candles at craft shows, organizing candle parties, fundraisers and selling to local people and businesses. In addition to her online store, Teresa’s Candles are now being stocked in several stores around the United States.

Teresa’s Candles has added palm wax to their line. Palm wax is made from the oil of palm trees and is all natural. You can currently purchase palm wax candles in the form of votives and in any jar from Teresa’s Candles.
